This large site on Mortlake Road was aquired by CFA Victoria after the fitness centre comprising of an indoor pool, gym and squash courts closed in 2014. B Murrihy Demolitions were contracted to prepare the land for a new $7.7 million fire station.
The asbestos removal, full demolition and site clearance was completed ahead of schedule in June, with 96% of all materials recycled.
